Fostina Dixon
Winds of Change 


"Saxophone Queen"

Fostina Dixon is a composer, vocalist and jazz soloist who plays soprano, alto and baritone saxes; flute; and clarinet. Ms. Dixon has been guest soloist with Abbey Lincoln, Barry Harris, Earl May and the Big Apple Jazzwomen. She has also played with Gil Evans, Roy Ayers, Tom Browne, Charlie Persip, Melba Liston, Cab Calloway, Slide Hampton, Frank Foster, Joe Williams, Nancy Wilson, Bobby Vinton, Sammy Davis, Jr., Prince, and Marvin Gaye, with whom she toured for four years. She was a member of the Gerald Wilson, Jimmy Cleveland and Leslie Drayton big bands.

Elwood Bishop & and his funky jazz/blues ensemble, “No Byscuyts,” will bring a dynamic jazzy R&B and blues sound for both listeners and dancers. 

Bishop and Baione have twice collaborated for a high-energy  festival performances!

  Internationally known composer, vocalist and voice coach, released her first CD in 2004 entitled “I’m Gonna Try,” including original compositions with her lyrical depictions of life, spirit, and love.  She also covers jazz legends and female greats who have inspired her.

Joe Baione 
Vibraphonist Joe Baione has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in the world, including Trinidad Jazz and Steelpan Festival, Rochester Int. Jazz Festival, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival and the Rehoboth Jazz Festival.

Ronnie Sterling
A Crisfield native, made it to the second stage of auditions on "The Voice" — the NBC network show that competes talented singers for a recording contract as grand prize.   And what a voice he has!
